If only people actually drew the line at that. But they don't, and just looking up the page there are examples of it. Regardless of this, there is also a note in the rules about provocative posts and excessively argumentative responses.
And speaking for myself as a moderator (ie not on behalf of the team), it is just getting really old seeing the same people in the same arguments. It ruins the forum for others. I don't get paid to do this so there is no reason why i should spend time mediating petty arguments OVER AND OVER. The ban button exists for a reason, and if people want to keep trying to bend the rules, causing problems here and generally taking the piss then i'm gonna start using it, cause i've completely had enough of it now.
