I must say, it's wise to start from the pitlane. Why? It's a pretty tight track, and most of the top teams get in trouble when starting from the back. My guess is that Vettel will start on harder tires, with a bit less downforce. Everything is still open, people. 1 Safety Car could change it all.

Win as a team lose as a team. It's not a hard concept, everyone including the driver accepts that so why can't some fans? Exactly the same BS we saw after Spain.

Should make this a good race though, even if the winner is fairly academic. Red Bull decided to start Vettel from the pitlane now right? If so i'd expect they're going to re-setup the car to make it fly down the straights, which we don't normally get to see from those guys...

Hoping there might be a shout for a Raikkonen podium tomorrow now :)

Exactly. Vettel has everything to gain and Alonso has to deal with some pretty tough competition at front to even get on the podium. That Ferrari is struggling big time here, and Vettel can still grab some points.

Good to see you're a true Vettel/F1 fan vlad.

They're not allowed to touch the car, it's still in parc ferme no? Other than changes to the angle of the front wing and tire pressure, it's hand off. Nothing there would account for making the car fly on the straights without paying a price elsewhere.

Alonso has it. You mark my words. I'll eat my hat if he doesn't get the championship now. My only hope is that he is struck by a metiorite during the race.

I'm pleased that Alonso is still fighting for the championship given what things looked like at the very beginning of the year. But I think that right now the Red Bull is faster than Ferrari, and it's a big ask for Fernando to win the championship.

This SNAFU could be the start of Red Bull falling apart a bit. But I don't want to see championships won that way. I want to see them won on the track by the fastest driver and car.

If they start from the pitlane parc ferme doesn't apply.

They've withdrawn from parc fermé (hence starting from the pit lane) to inspect the car further.

Thoughts for the win? Will Lewis have it easy? Or will Alonso come on strong for the race?

OR WILL VETTEL WIN IT FROM THE BACK???:twisted:

...are you saying Vettel takes it from behind?

All the other drivers will if he does win 'cos they'll have been right royally :censored: on track. :hehe:
