This season is the most anticlimactic ever.

Agreed. 4 races to go and the WDC and WCC are decided. :(

How?

7 races wasn't it with 7 different winners, now the last 3 races by the same winner, and the rest looking that way too. It was setup to be a close season, but turned into the same as the past two seasons with Redbull domination, unless Ferrari produce magic updates, or it starts raining and the demon of speed stops feeling sorry for Massa and repossesses Alonso.

It's always going to come down to 2 or 3 drivers come the last few races.

Like Hammer said, it's done, Vettel and Red Bull have them both. After all the awesome races earlier this season and all the unpredictability, it's now become the same as last season with Vettel looking likely to win every week, in the same old way he always does, without any excitement.

The only thing that can save this is a wet race or two - but even that is almost impossible at sodding Abu Dhabi, India, and down in Texas!

Denth - i don't care who wins, honestly, as long as it's exciting. My drivers winning is just a bonus.

I couldn't disagree more. It's just getting interesting.

that's because your driver and car are starting to dominate. Thats not exciting or interesting.

You couldn't be more wrong.

Well, i don't know how you can say this is now getting interesting andrew, when one single guy just won 3 straight races, has the points lead, and the outright quickest car at the moment, and his only real rival looks unlikely to have the car to be able to beat him on pure pace at any remaining track. I mean, fair play to him, but to a neutral in this situation, having such predictability isn't particularly much to look forward to.

For me it's getting less mickey mouse and more like what F1 should be like. This was bound to happen once the teams got on top of the gimmicks towards the end of the season.

No doubt I'll now get flamed for expressing an opinion that dares to be different.
#327267
There's a marked difference between fans of the sport (racing) and 'fans' who just need something to fill up their day with.
#327270
Well, i don't mind that, but only when there is still an element of unpredictability (and therefore interest) in each race. That is why 2003 was such a good season, Ferrari, McLaren and Williams were all on it, and it was ultra competitive. But not one sided!
