I was at Download for the day, and we walked to East Midlands Airport to get the bus home at 11pm or whenever the hell it was. We were waiting near the arrivals bit when i saw this mass of hair walk past!
He'd obviously just flown in, he was playing at the festival the next day. Chatted about his new (at the time) record and stuff, i asked him some things about his gear and the various stories i read in his autobio, standard fan stuff i guess, but he was cool with it. Top guy. Some famous people don't bother to chat to the fans, but he gave us a good 10-15 minutes of his time, which i thought was so sound.
It took quiet a bit of tapping to get it downloaded, but it's now arrived. thank you
You realise I may now need private tuition on using this app
