Only one person thinks he'll leave McLaren so far. Another interesting point of discussion. How many people who currently support Lewis / McLaren will follow Lewis to a new team if he were to leave?

I personally, will still remain a fan of McLaren. I tend to follow teams rather than drivers. So I won't be following Lewis.

I would start to support Mclaren.

The poll is now getting quite close!

Why do we need a special section for polls anyway?

It's either Lewis is playing hardball with McLaren (well Ron mainly I guess) hoping for a bigger contract offer, or he's just finalising things with Mercedes and Schumacher's retirement. Can't see Rosberg going anywhere, even if being made a number 2 (though it only seems to be people on here suggesting that is Lewis's motive), Mercedes is the best seat he's got and I don't think Mercedes have a reason to replace him, unless Schumacher insists he's staying, then Rosberg's pedigree will be relatively negative.

Lewis is probably also trying to see whether Mercedes really do have a good shot or not at winning relative to McLaren.

Ferrari like to announce their drivers at Monza don't they? If they were going to swap Lewis for Massa I think it would have happened already. Unless Alonso has an impending major impediment, I think his seat is safe.

I don't know, I think it's up in the air, they'll probably be less complaining if Lewis moves.

To stop abuse of the poll system; on a previous forum I moderated, there were issues with people posting unrelated polls to the thread topic every one in three times!

Can't you just ban people who do that then? It's only a small member base on here, people know the rules and adjust easier to the norms of the commuity, plus most of the topics are pretty specific to F1.

It's historical. We used to have many polls at the end of the season with topics like the best driver, the most improved rookie, the most awkward moment, etc. All these polls needed a home to keep them together.
It's nice to have the polls which are somewhat different from other topics all in one place.

Selecting the options "I don't care" seems to suggest you do care, for if you didn't care you wouldn't have read the thread, nor taken the time to vote...

Lewis haters needed an option too.

Some of us don't care if he goes to Mercedes or stays at McLaren, or whatever. Funny that people are getting twisted about that being an option though.

Yarp!

I put it there for a reason. All are welcome to use this poll. :)
