You could look at it that way, or you could also say Felipe isnt treated the same way as his team mate, isnt given the same support, the same attention, the same motivation to perform knowing youre only going to be second best. The Ferrari #2 is a death trap for a drivers career and own ambitions.

As "Ferrari man 009" has mentioned, being the Ferrari #2 in 1999 ended up being far from a death trap.

We agree that Ferrari does have a #1 and #2 driver, but the status is determined by the driver's performances.

Exactly - there can't be a resolution to this issue because there are genuine justifications for both approaches given that there is both a WDC and also there are WCC's. If Ferrari choose to take a strategy that they believe benefits their chances in the WDC by assigning a #1 and #2 driver then that is entirely their choice as it is a genuine strategy - case in point - had McLaren given either Alonso or Hamilton #1 status in 2007 then it's almost beyond dispute that whichever got the nod would have taken the drivers title. They didn't, and Kimi ended up with the title. Now I am NOT saying that I either agree or disagree with either approach, but there are perfectly reasonable justifications either way, it is all down to personal opinion as to which of the approaches you prefer as there is NO right or wrong in this issue.

Ferrari only have eyes for one driver these days.

Nando is #1 because he took that position through his on track achievements each year he's been at Ferrari. I don't think even your could deny that Nando has clearly and consistently outperformed Felipe. And that's coming from someone who is a huge Felipe fan.

A huge bag of Spanish gold helps plus Massa is has clearly not fully regained his confidence since his crash. Ferrari have pretty much his career.

As I said, it is team first at Ferrari - always (as even Schumi learned during his time at SF).
