Honda got banned for a race or 2

For a dodgy fuel tank though, not driver conduct.

Yup, and Jenson Button was made commentator for ITV. I remember being annoyed because he pronounced Kimi Raikkonen's name wrong :hehe:

It was BAR back then and they had a secret compartment in their fuel tank.

Which Ferrari and Toyota apparently had too, because they lost performance after BAR got caught xD.

About a possible driver meeting where they were told to take it easy at the start: Isn't it sad start crashes are banned like that?

No one wants rules to stifle racing but while spectacular, some of the crashes at the starts have involved cars and bits of cars flying through the air in a tightly packed field putting drivers in serious risk, not sad at all that the powers that be want to minimise the possibility of injury. If Alonso had turned into the hairpin in Spa a fraction of a second earlier the outcome could have been far worse.

Not to mention the tire that went bouncing off towards the crowd at turn 1. Tire tether must have broke

Just a thought on this, the three guys that Grosjean took out in Spa were the three guys that just happened to wind up on the podium in Monza.

Lotus are up to it again, in their quest for podiums! Well spotted though, just coincidence I guess.

Ah, so Grosjean's ban was for not sticking to Bernies script for the season and they had to do a bit of a re-write for Monza.

Truth is stranger than fiction. :hehe:

Anyway, Bernie has been on the quiet side ever since his new marriage... maybe he's comfortable in a cuckold role.
