Two things that apparently the ENTIRE forum community is able to agree on time and time again;
1. FIA inconsitencies
2. Flavio in a thong.

3. HRT aren't the worst team
4.Badoer isn't the worst ever f1 driver.
5. Kobayashi is cool,
6. It's nice when Sauber do well.

I'm going with a bad thing since we unanimously agree... then again as soon as someone says it's a good thing we've got to remove it from the unanimously agree list.

I just wonder why crashes need to be punished so much? Crashing shouldn't be banned. Sure, it's a bit nasty when a driver gets taken out by someone, and that other driver managed to drive on gaining a position from the crash, but other than that crashes are part of the sport. Usually at least one of the drivers did something stupid. If it keeps repeating, maybe try handing him sensible penalties that have a gradual increase in severity and feel like you can rely on them and predict them, rather than this sometimes random severity and also often seeming disregard of past offences. I also don't see why it matters who the drivers were who were taken out. Also I feel that in Grosjean's case the danger in the crash had more to do with a bit of a freak accident in how the cars were crashing. I don't think it could've been predicted the crash went like this and the danger wasn't so much in the actions but more in the freak result. Grosjean is now being punished because the cars reacted the way they did, which had little to do with the cause of the accident.

Grosjean has crashed I believe 7 out of 12 times during the first lap this year. At some point it's no longer crashing, but recklessness, that's why the ban is being handed out.

There's a theory that Romain's motion was affected by what Maldo did. Meaning he wouldn't have swerved right like that had Maldo not did what he did. Just saying.
Romain moved over, but stopped moving over before touching Lewis. So there would not have been a problem. Lewis could have moved over. Not that it was his responsibility to do anythign about it. There was room. Just saying. But anyway for a second they were happily motoring along together. So I think the swerve is by this point just a thing of the past. Their wheels were interlocked though and eventually those wheels touched, causing the poorly practised aerobatics. The swerve in that sense didn't cause the contact. So in that sanse Romain isn't as bad as it seems. Not quite as at fault as it would appear, but there is no one else that could reasonably share any blame. So I do agree he should take the blame because he was in that position though.
