Thought i'd create a thread about this T.V program. Not always been a Truck fan, but very interesting to watch. The thing i adore about this program is where the truckers are headed towards to, and on their way facing dangerous roads, like the Bolivia Death Road.

Anyone else interested in this program ?

I love it! I haven't 'seen the current series yet. Is it the same drivers? Does the girl still drive?

Yep Lisa still drives, but her partner "the spotter" left, after they had a problem with the air...thing. She has a new partner now, but yes, Quite a few people have left

The first couple of series were good but I don't find it essential viewing anymore. It's far too scripted and dramatised now.

I agree, the camera angles and all that sh*t is getting overacting

I've watched the first three seasons + the deadliest roads season, but haven't seen anything past that as I don't have cable and need to wait for it to appear on Hulu or Netflix.

I too agree. There are times when the camera is pointing at the driver and the driver has a cliff wall/face on their left, but another shot shows the cliff wall/face to be on the other side. One minute they're heading one way, the next, they're heading a completely different direction. :eek:

I preferred it when they were on proper ice roads. At least then they were driving proper trucks. YEAH!! :yes:

I prefer Deadliest Catch

having been a fisherman and skipper I can relate more to what's going on

But I'm interested to know if you really can hear the ice cracking and groaning when driving along it ?

As far as reality TV goes, I quite like Mighty Ships on Quest. :thumbup:

Deadliest catch was immense.

As far as reality TV goes, I quite like Mighty Ships on Quest.

The new series on discovery is awesome as well

I haven't seen Mighty Ships I'll have to look out for that
