For those travelling to campsites on Thursday, the BBC Forecast seems to be for rain from about 1-7PM. We were planning to get there about 2PM, but now planning to get there between 11:30 and 12 so we can get as much of the tent up as possible before the rain.

I'll be nice and dry in my living room and should be watching the race on my new telly however I am concerned about those who are going and will be enduring the inclement weather. In fact I'll be bone dry and comfortably warm with worry. :D Let it rain is what I says!

How do

I am going to Silverstone Friday, Have been to see GP at silverstone many a moons ago when Gerhard Berger was racing in a Ferarri and it blew up! Spent alot of time walking around trying to find a decent vantage point dont fancy that again, any suggestions where to settle for the day as my GA ticket will get me into most Grandstands. :)

I was at Copse last year, and it was pretty bloody good viewing.

I went to see the Renault World Series at Silverstone last year, good fun although the grandstand at Beckett's complex was a wee bit windy, but you did get to see a very large portion of the track.

Bring on the snow.

That wouldn't bloody surprise me with the weather we've had this week, I expect a similar weather pattern to what we had this weekend. Rain for 20 mins -> Bright sunshine, dries track -> HEAVY HAS HELL APOCALYPTIC RAIN for 5 mins -> Sunshine that dries track in 10 mins -> Hailstones -> ?????? (Mudslide maybe, Tornado that picks up a HRT and puts them at the front?)
