No.2 is crap, no team would prefer simulations over real track data!

What simulations do is point to where there is potential... data gathered at the track is for refinement. You need both.

Yep. And, if you have better sims, then you need less track data for refinement, IMO it's significant.

I don't think it's even favouritism, it's just the way Lewis operates can be less effective than Button's which is why Button can come out on top sometimes.

The consensus is that there is no conspiracy and no favouritism. There is however, the endless quest for excuses when things go wrong. :wink:
