No.2 is crap, no team would prefer simulations over real track data!


What simulations do is point to where there is potential... data gathered at the track is for refinement. You need both.


Yep. And, if you have better sims, then you need less track data for refinement, IMO it's significant.

I still think it's paranoia, scapegoating for Hamilton's problems and reading stupid things that aren't there into irrelevant pieces of journalism. Simples!

Apparantly :D Though thats about the view I started from. Ive yet to see any evidence that either moves me towards a conspiracy or away from favouritism.

The consensus is that there is no conspiracy and no favouritism. There is however, the endless quest for excuses when things go wrong. :wink:
