Quite a remarkable character in the sport. So little written abou thim considering. I remember reading his historical accounts as well as race reports in Road & Track. Always riveting. Did he write any book(s)? I am curious whether the stories he wrote about his adventures were from books. One interesting thing I recall is he was present for the death of Mike Hawthorn. Driving side by side on an open road. Mike suddenly wiped out for no apparent reason. I would devour a book written by Rob Walker. Google seems never to have heard of him. Wiki knows a little about him.

Check Amazon because I have recently purchased a few F1 books I could not find anywhere else. Rob was a "gentlemans gentleman" and he is dearly missed, I also looked forward to his article in R&T way back when.

Thanks. I went there and found a book ABOUT the team and nothing more. Still, I would want it. Trouble is there are 1 or 2 current authors named Rob Walker.
