Hi i'm trying to find some help in identifying this Renault F1 Cap

If anybody knows what year this cap is from, what the signature is and any guess at the value your info would be greatly appreciated. I'm doing this for a friend who was given the cap whom wishes to sell it but it I thought it would be a good idea to get some info on it first so I have turned to this wonderfull resource of F1 fans which is this forum. Thanks in advance for any help which may be forthcoming.

It doesn't look like it's signed by Flavio Briatore, so right off the bat, it's worth a bit more.

I got a virus threat message from that site!


For the cap, it's Renault and it's blue and white so you can probably narrow it down to being from '02-'06..

To me that very much looks like the signature of Dino Toso who was Director of Aerodynamics from 2003 till 2008.

Actually, I think it is Ferrari cap cleverly disguised as a Renault F1 cap.
