I'm not sure what you guys are complaining about!

I had a great day at the track today, out of my 4 GP fridays, today was easily the best1 I was invited to the UBS Paddock club hospitality suite and it was one of the best experiences of my life as an F1 fan!

Right after FP1 i was given a tour of the Mercedes Pit garage, got to hold Michaels seat and check out the steering wheel, pretty damn cool!
About half an hour later there was a pit walk for all paddock club members and we were able to explore the pit lane but not enter any of the garages, got permission to enter the mercedes garage again and talked to a few engineers about what they thought of the track, once again, very cool!

During lunch i was talking to the guy you can see at the end of the flexi wing video above and Bernie came over because they are friends and he introduced me to him. I shook hands with bernie... Shameful, i know!

During FP2 a few of us were taken down to the Mercedes garage to listen in on the team radio at the back of the garage, this was amazing! You could hear Michael and Nico talking about track conditions and adjustments that need to be made to the cars.

Why am I not surprised to see the LH fans up in arms again this morning, at the end of the day, there were still double waved yellows on the track and LH wasn't slowing down, both Hamilton and Perez got punished, it's not like LH was singularly punished. There might have been some issue of timing between the electronic boards and the flags but it's the drivers responsibility to look out for marshals with flags, not just relying on the electronic flag boards.

That's crap, the drivers were given conflicting messages, they should have been a bit more lenient due to the inconpitence of the track officials. Who most likely have never marshaled in their life!

It's all good having the lights system but what's the point of it of it is over ruled by marshals? I guarantee drivers on a lap in the zone would take notice of the lights over marshals, it's not like they've never had flags before... They have had them since karting.

Just another example of inept officialdom by amateurs policing a multi million dollar sport.

Let's move on and be happy that he only got a mild penalty(it could've been worse).

I posted something similar in the Lewis Supporters Thread; but I was referring to the rules; clearly the 'real' flag supersedes the electronic aids, so the driver needs to look out for the waved flags to stay within the rules...

Lewis confirmed he saw the double yellow, so he knew. I thought it was rather decent of him to test the path to the officials office at the new track. And, if you want to look at it another way, perhaps Lewis got off rather lightly, I think d'Ambrosia got 5 grid penalty for ignoring a single yellow during Friday practice - Turkey was it?

On the Ferrari front wing, if they were trying to make a point about how ludicrously pathetic the FiA front wing test is then they succeeded, if they were trying to make an effective 2012 front wing then that one is a failure Oh, and yes, that front wing did indeed pass the test

I must say India is a nice circuit. It looked challenging, there were some nice undulations and elevation changes, and it looks like a good driver's track.

Pit exit though is HAIRY how many bumps are we going to see there come race day?

I imagine he'll be called up in front of the stewards, then it'll be down to what the telemetry shows. Judging it on a personal best sector alone isn't really enough, considering his previous timed lap was some five seconds slower. Guess we'll see what happens afterwards.
