Sorry, should've posted in this thread instead.

IMHO, they both should get a penalty. Funny that the voting choices assume HAM is clear from any faults.

HAM turned in to MAL and MAL turned to HAM, both should be equally at fault, both should get penalty.

 Both drivers.

And how have you arrived at this curiously DETAILED explanation of a bonkers incident where both drivers WILLINGLY turn into each other when we've hardly had any video evidence to show us anything?

Watch the posted video clip carefully and turn off the commentary sound.

Be neutral, and you will see what I mean.

But I can understand being a hardcore fan for a team can sometimes influence one's opinion.

Neutral. :)

Hmmmm. There's the turn of a corner to take into account. Hamilton was turning the way the corner turns. Maldonado wasn't.

Case closed.

Explain Hamilton's jink towards Mandy.

I think Hamilton's dirty deed was in the final corner when he shoved Mandy out of the way. This is what my money's on for what got him a tongue lashing from Mainsail.

Are you asking me or yamashek?

Anyone who will listen to be honest. It is rapidly becoming one of life great unsolved mysteries, along with what has happened to the Trivia Quiz and the Guess the Race threads.

I'm blaming scotty with regards to the demise of the latter...

I have seen the footage over and over again and it looks to me that Maldonando pulled alongside Hamilton and turned into him, Hamilton explains his jink to the right as having a little wheelspin in the damp conditions, which is permanently plausible as most drivers have been having problems with wheelspin on the greasy track! I think it's a simple cause of Maldonando seeing the red mist after being effectively barged out of the way coming out of the Bus Stop chicane by Hamilton. Maldonando got off very lightly, I would have excluded him from the race if I were a steward!

Yep. It's understandable that Mandy would be steamed and let's face it we've all done something in the heat of the moment and we instantly regret. Just human nature.

This is the first I've heard of it as I haven't yet watched my recorded Q but I question why would PM do this deliberately? Does not compute. Nothing for him to gain by that. Are they title rivals? LOL That to me reduces the possibility that it was deliberate. And that was a rather odd first post. A little reactionary, and no greeting? Usually that's a troll but I'll hold my judgement.

Hi - Apologies! The incident and stewards decision made me really quite angry - so yes it was reactionary.

Now for the introduction.....

My name Is Leo, I'm a 31 year old IT engineer; live in Croydon and have been an avid F1 fan since I was 14. I do a bit of racing myself quite often (Hire karts) at various tracks throughout the year......sim wise I like to race online occasionally using rFactor and F1 2010.

There was nothing wrong with Hamiltons overtaje? At all.

Maldonado was massively slower through there, Hamilton had every right tontry it and Hamilton managed it perfectly, a side by side kiss youd give your nan is not a barge and its not disallowed.
