I'm confused. Why all the divorce news....and if it is indeed a hoax, who would be so jobless to create sh*t like this for??

It's come to a point where no one's sure if they're indeed divorced!?

LONDON—Barely a month after marrying 29-year-old Kate Middleton in a royal wedding ceremony watched by an estimated 2 billion people worldwide, Prince William announced Tuesday that he and Middleton have divorced and that the entire marriage was "a tremendous mistake in every possible regard." "I really don't know what I was thinking—we're a terrible match, I don't love her and never have, and, to be honest, I never really had any interest in being married in the first place," announced the now unattached Prince William to a dead-silent British press corps. "People thought our wedding was some sort of fairy tale, but I assure you it was all just some ghastly ceremonial farce that got out of hand. I'm just relieved it's over, frankly. And I'm glad I'll never have to see that awful woman again." Prince William then told the assembled reporters, "Well, see you all later," smiled, and walked back into Buckingham Palace.

I just found this thread and want to register not only my amazement that this piece or irrelevant news warrented a thread on this fair site but it got 9 pages of posts.

I also want to voice by opinion, albeit a bit late, but who cares?! My tax money is being wasted to what is really just a big party and me and all the other regular folks of the nation didn't get an invite. I wouldn't have wasted my time going but still, I'm paying for the blue bloods piss up. The decent thing is to at least invite the ones who pay for your wedding.

Did I watch? No. Did I care? Only that puiblic money is being wasted on this when there is not much public money to be wasted. Do I care if they divorce? No.

What a load of pish is my sentiment on this wedding, but looking on the bright side, this must be the first royal marrige in a long time that doesn't involve inbreeding (as far as the bride and groom go). :hehe:

So why didn't Zara Phillips & Mike Tindall get such a lavish wedding?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-e ... e-14344093

Guess that they are not important enough!

She's number 13 or so in the thrown succession - who cares? :P

I couldn't care about the royal family, full stop, they are outdated and too expensive, even more so in this time of financial hardship for us mere mortals!
