He would get my vote. What do you guys think?

Massa did a pretty good job. The line between defending and blocking seems to have been very laxed Sunday though.

I wouldnt say Massa did a good job, didnt seem like vettel was really trying (if you are referring to the German GP), there was no late breaking and i dont think Vettel got his nose halfway past the ferrari.

I dont think you can judge Massa's blocking just off this weekend's performance, however if you are referring to numerous other occasions then my terrible memory may allow me to agree with you. :)

If Alonso was on this site, he would shake his fist in agreement.

I'm actually warming to Petrov. He was a bit all over the place last year, but he seems to have settled nicely this year. So *sputnik* to him, or however you says cheers in Russian.

He had a difficult first season, but with flashes of great potential. Now he's smoothed he rough edges a bit. Maturing into a handy racer. 8-)

Petrov is a great defensive driver. It showed again this weekend. There's been numerous times this year and last where he's held his own.

I also have to nominate Hamilton. Remember at Silverstone - Vettel's attempted pass on the start-finish straight, which some how incredibly he managed to keep at bay. Lewis is not one to give up easily. Massa did very well in Germany also, although it did seem the Red Bull's were lacking something due to the cooler conditions. Nonetheless take nothing away from the quality of Massa's drive this weekend. One of his better races this year IMO.

I'd say Petrov is a solid defensive driver, Lewis is more of a counter-attack racer. Lets go easier, but gets 'im back immediately. :D

Watching Petrov race reminded me of Berger.

Berger was a complete bugger to pass back in the day and had the widest F1 car on the track. Petrov's Renault was pretty wide too.

So much for him being a crappy pay driver. He ain't half bad. Give him a decent car and he'll go far.

Pity Alonso isn't behind him more. :hehe:
