Ridiculous. He would never have won it, it was between Alonso and Vettel...Jenny was simply a spectator throughout. If anyone deserved driver of the day, it was either Vettel, ALonso or Lewis.

Did you watch the race? lol.

The team made a bad decision especially with the tyre choice on his 2nd pitstop which was made worse when the safety car pretty much dumped him behind Vettel and than by the end of the race he could have quite easily snatched back 2nd when Alonso got through but again got unlucky with the red flag.

He drove by far the best, was quickest for the majority of the race and pretty much had the win in the bag until Vettels luck streak hit.

When ALonso got through?? Alonso was right behind Vettel, and Jenny was keeping a breathing space all the time praying to his Tyre Gods for some mistake from the 2 in front! There was no attempt whatsoever.

And McLaren and their strategy, yeh, no surprise there they simply made life hard for Jenson, as they normally do for both their drivers. My point is Jenson doesn't deserve driver of the day, all he did was drive fast when he's ahead and then simply follow other cars like a puppy tail. He didn't have Vettel's pressure, Alonso's pressure/aggression on Vettel.

One does indeed feel that Hamilton would've piled on much more pressure when behind Vettel/Alonso at the end.

The stewards needed to be consistent...Hence, they treated lewis the same way they treated di resta...

Lewis is a fun driver to watch but as a mclaren fan, I cringe everytime he makes an aggresive move that could potentially ruin his race....

I love his aggression. That what forms a great contrast between himself and Jenson. It cost him badly today though. :(

Exactly my point...Aggresive driving is fun to watch but too much aggression can also potentially lead to bad results...

QFT!!! It's also what saved F1 in the last couple of years...Lewis Hamilton's on-track swagger...the kid just doesn't let off.

Just showed the replay of Schumi taking Hamilton on the first lap...Coulthard was absolutely right, Hamilton got out the way of him, imo the 2 contacts made there were as much the defensive cars fault as the attacking car, they cant just turn into a car...

Exactly my point mate. If Lewis didn't move over at the 1st lap, there WOULD be a crash...and that makes it Schumachers fault?? His car was already alongside, Lewis had to make space...something bloody Massa didn't do and happily paid the price in the tunnel. One of my loudest cheers during this season when I saw that stupid Ferrari broken up.

Hammer, here's the link to Hamilton's rant. :( I didn't enjoy listening to it at all. And I don't think he will, if he plays it back...

Nothing beats the joy of seeing a smashed up Ferrari. I'm gonna hope for a few Red Bull smash-ups from now on - they are due some bad luck.

Lewis is awesome and I like him more and more with each passing year/race and really it was just racing and he does deserve prop's for trying right. I do not think, atleast from my perspective, that there is a driver more driven on the grid than Lewis.

So, drives in to the side of two competitors and then makes that rant. Nice and mature.

This is one of the things that irritates me. He's a fantastic driver, but he's a complete <EDITED FOR CONTENT>. It's frustrating.

I fear Hamilton is really going off the rails tbh, wish he had his 2007 attitude.

Id like to see ANYONE DARE disagree with me after watching Hamiltons post race BBC forum interview, DARE.

Why do you feel your so magnetic to the stewards " maybe because im black"

I think, think that was a joke...

Are you telling me that somehow makes it normal dialogue to say?

" For the last 5 of 6 races ive been called to the stewards its frickin ridiculous, frickin ridicoulous."

" (why are you so attracted to to stewards) i dunno maybe its cause im black, thats what ali g says (laughs)

Can you just wait if you havent seen it till i or someone posts the link. My jaw hit the floor, he just would not shut up, and everything he said was like :yikes: .

What is normal dialogue to you I'm wondering? I appreciate people that tell it like it is rather than beat around the bush because of "powers that be" or PR. Remeber these guys are STILL human beings.

Absolutely. If there's a driver who you can see the passion just from his racing, it's Lewis.

Why would your jaw hit the floor,do you ever get out into the real world?

Lewis was right in what he was saying about his team, they have made mistakes all weekend long, this is fact.

As for the black comment, why would that surprised you or anyone else. It wasn't so long ago when monkey faces and costumes were being bough to the races and Lewis just took it on the chin.

Here is what Bernie thinks about racist behaviour..

But yesterday Ecclestone insisted the abuse was not racist and the culprits were 'expressing themselves'.
Many Spaniards dislike Hamilton for eclipsing his Spanish former McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso. The two rowed publicly and were not on speaking terms.
Spanish fans also favour Brazilian driver Felipe Massa, who was beaten to the championship on Sunday in his home country by Hamilton.
Asked about the fans who wore black face make-up at the Spanish Grand Prix earlier this year, Ecclestone said: 'That was probably meant in the beginning as a joke rather than anything abusive.
'I think people look and read into things that are not there. I think all those things were a bit of a joke.
'In Spain, people were supporting Alonso and in Sao Paulo they were supporting Felipe. I don't think it's anything to do with racism.'

And you really think that Lewis does not have a point.

Take the goggles off... :yikes:

That is a rather harsh thing to say :( . Any REAL racing fan does not say such things even against their fiercest rival's. Remember it's all about the racing first and then personal selection second.

It was a great race and I'm looking forward to Canada (DD promised me some pic's from the stand, did I put ya on DA SPOT DD?).

I said that lewis is off the rails comment i think right on early in the race, you said " what one incident with massa blah blah blah.. etc"

He since smashed into Maldonado, waved his hands like a kid more times in the last 5 races then from 2007-11, and had a massive rant on live tv.

Youve been totally and utterly proven wrong and your insulting me cause of how stupid you now look.

Im a Hamilton fan btw, go check my history of posting to confirm. So no more pathetic excuses about goggles.
