The 1st year the Turkish GP was on, I went to see it, why because it was cheaper bear in mind that I live about 30 minutes from Silverstone, it was cheaper to fly to Turkey and get a hotel and a 3 day pass than it was to get to Silverstone, camp the night and get a grandstand ticket for race day.

Bernie asks the Circuits for millions of pounds to host his race, he then says that it needs this that and the other to make it up to the F1 standard, these changes add another few million onto the price of holding a grand prix, the only way an inderpendant circuit could get that money back is with sponsership and ticket sales. As most companies are in a bad way financially at the moment the only place they can get money is from us poor mugs.
