Wow, best qualifying end in ages.

Yeah, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I was perched at the edge of my sofa there during the last few minutes.

I still believe in Vettel's strategy for the race, he did the least laps of top 5 drivers, so he has tires on his side... Now, let's just hope he starts the way he did in Melbourne. That was fantastic.

I'm actually not hoping for that, because I personally want Hamilton to get by him. I don't reckon it will matter, though. As good as Hamilton's been looking, Vettel's still Vettel and he still has the Red Bull, and while it doesn't seem to be quite as one-sided in the Bulls' favor they still seem to have a slight edge. Further, I expect Hamilton's rotten luck to catch up with him before we reach the checkers. He'll have a random failure, get bumped by another car and consequently suffer crippling damage, or rain will come in with poor timing and bend him over.

The right side? Does this mean the side next to the pitlane? Or the one next to grandstands?? Depends which way we're looking at the track!

Nearest the Pitlane. It's defined from the driver's perspective.

Weather forecast for the race is wet, very wet, thundery and wet followed by very wet. We could see this one start under the safety car and stopped before 3/4 distance.

Or the race could be called off completely if the weather is that bad; if it's delayed; it could be too late to start the race because of bad light (Formula 1 cricket?) All because of Bernies wish to have the flyaway races run later in the day to suit European audiences, here's an idea; hold the damn races in Europe! [/end rant]

I'm thinking the winner will be which ever rb or McLaren gets the best timing on wet/dry tyres. Hopefully Webber and Button don't get compromised by being 2nd in line for tyres. Could well be what lets a Ferrari or Renault through if it rains enough

I really hope conditions stay race-able throughout. MAN this race better not be spoiled again!!!!

As I said....I stay around 40 minutes from the circuit, and the skies look very gloomy. One of those rare days where its gloomy the whole morning and then pours down like a bi*ch come evening. :(
