I feel it was petrov skills that kept him at bay rather than suggesting alonzo is crap.

that's a separate issue. Petrov did nothing wrong and had a very decent drive; i dont think anyone would say it was because alonso is crap, but rather many people, including mclaren management, agreed the track has its deficiencies...... but again, no need to go over blaming the track, the bteams etc..... ferrari knew which track they were on, just as it helped in hungary it screwed them in abu dhabi.

Now, whoever thinks the Toro rossi would not help out the Red bulls in the same manner again is in fantasy land.

the intention was to let seen that there are inner workings that go beyond simply sharing or not a chassis or a title sponsor.... Mclaren and Ferrari share a sponsor, so its more it than just what's obvious to the outsider. That's what i'm saying....

Remember how much better the Renault was out of corners Petrov just lept away opening enough of a gap that there was nothing Alonso could do, fantastic battle imho.
