Well, the man is dropping some bombs:
http://en.espnf1.com/f1/motorsport/story/43949.html

Todt is a poor man's Mosley....

But i really like his last words:

He said it was proof that F1's financial stakeholders, such as the teams and Formula One Management, should have dictate the regulations rather than the FIA.

"We should write the rules with the teams," he said. "The competitors have got to race and have got a big investment. We have got a big investment. We should write the rules, give them to the FIA and they should make sure they are followed. It should be like the police - the police don't write the rules and say you've got to do 30mph. The FIA is a joke."

i think this is spot on.

He's wrong, actually. The crooks are Formula One Management and Formula One Administration. The sport belongs to the competitors and the FIA. If anything, the teams should handle the commercial side themselves (Via FOTA) and the FIA should handle everything else, taking a cut of commercial revenue from FOTA.

Bernie seems to have the entire paddock and the pundits who circle it convinced that FOA and FOM are indispensable. They're not, they're (collectively) an albatross and a waste of money.

hmmm its true, you're right. he said the teams and FOM should write the rules... i misread that bit!
it should be like you said, the teams and the FIA to serve as a referee of some sorts. FOM should focus on $ issues alone, stay out of sporting issues, while the FIA should keep out of $ issues.

WTF is this :censored: troll keeps blabbing about. He is just a f****** promoter, like Don King is,and a crook like Don King is.

The teams need to gain control of their sport, and pay the promotion company the going rate of 15%,NOT what Bernie is robbing atm.

Because he is very intelligent and business savvy; stupid ideas that never come to fruition but constantly throws the spotlight on the sport; this season will be bigger than ever, you'll see!

Bernie does talk out his arse sometimes but he did step up to the plate and help make F1 what it is today.

Maybe he's just abusing his power, you know when your a kid in school, you say something stupid and everyone laughs at you. But when your a billionaire, you can say random stuff and get reported in the worlds media.
