Its a decent track.... they test there because "fundamentally" its a good track, its just too darned narrow, and cars cant overtake anyway........

Disagree, they test there because it has a wide mix of corners. I hate everything about the circuit myself, i'd much prefer races at Jerez again but it's unlikely.

How about they change it a bit!?

They did a couple of years ago to try and improve overtaking chances... instead they've just made the last two corners into a mickey mouse section with no actual improvement in overtaking, they used to be a wonderfully quick pair of right-handers.

1st Get rid of all the green initiatives. This is racing not some place to set politcal examples.
2. No engine restrictions. Can be turbine, piston or whatever. Only restriciton is that it has to drive the rear wheels. No thursting engines.
3. Ditch Singapore, Cataluna(Move the Spanish GP to Valencia), Abu Dhabi.
4. Revert Silverstone to its previous config.
5. Tyres unlimited. Have to have 4 only. No mandatory pits.
6. Fuel unrestricted. Fuel stops permitted if you want. If you really want new cleaner technologies to com forward allow teams to think outside the box. Necessity is the mother of invention.
7. Car dimensions restricted to virtual box simular to today but wings unlimited(Movible in any manner).
8. Gound effect, TC, Active Suspension re-allowed
9. Bring back old Hockenhiem(if possible), and Imola

Agree about Catalunya...BUT NOT TO VALENCIA!! Jerez
And no messing with Silverstone! The new layout was great, there was quite a bit of overtaking in the new loop and spectators get to see much more of the cars from some viewing points. Big improvement i think.
Agree about old Hokenheim(that woud be ace) and Imola too.

here is what i would do

1. get rid of these corrupted money laundering race stewards ( thankfully last year ex drivers were involved)
2. keep kers, but do away with MRW ( but give it a chance first)
3. bring back refuelling
4. bring back the old hockiemheim ( new one is boring)
5. get rid of bahrain, valencia and yes barcelona
6. keep the new points system
7. bring back the big v10's
8. not change the rules every year!
9. ditch soft driver penalties i.e spa 2008
10. DONT MESS WITH THE GREAT CIRCUITS!
so yeah!

Mostly good Ideas, but point 8

If you brought back Ground Affect, or Perhaps Active Suspension it would get very silly.

You'd need G Suits for the F1 Drivers, and it would get very very dangerous.

Fixed amount of fuel per race with no engine restrictions.

Make alterations to aero specs every season.
