I doubt Mclaren are going to be able to challenge (strongly) either Red Bull or Ferrari. Whether they, or Lewis, are able to have a great weekend is something else.

As for the rest... like I said, things couldnt be closer. If you want to talk about mistakes, everyone has made some... if you want to talk about failures, everyone has had some. And if you want to talk about the faster car, Red Bull has always had it and look how it is...

Mentally, Alonso should be stronger, but he's the one having to face 2 Red Bulls. That's not easy. If it was only one, i guess he could be a bit more relaxed or have a little bit extra confedence. But with both of them running strong....... i'd say even mentally its close.

So... its close. Have i said that before? hehe

No.

You think it's close?

:director:I THINK WE THINK TOO MUCH!

Red Bull are in a more fantastic position now than if team orders were implemented in Brazil. Sure Webber would've been a great position to take the title, but now we have 2 drivers who can win the title in Brazil. 2 are better than one - it puts all the pressure on Alonso to know that he'd fighting the Red Bull drivers as a team.

I expect nothing more than a Red Bull WDC. Hopefully it's Vettel - but he will have a say in Webber winning the title, if it's Webber. Vettel demonstrated in Brazil his ability to drive manage his engine. He conserved fuel and engine power mid race when Webber appeared to be catching him and then woooooooooooooooooooooosh! :D

Alonso would absolutely deserve the championship if he wins it. It might appear tainted - but all the great champions appear to win tainted titles. And maybe Alonso Deserves one after his efforts since 06. Webber deserves one for his 10 years in the sport. And Vettel deserves one because... um...:hehe:

We could have a situation of Hamilton winning the WDC; Alonso pushes a little too hard and brushes a wall causing suspension failure which means that Vettel and Webber will have to battle it out for the win to take the title and they collide taking both out of the race, Lewis Hamilton wins the race by complaining about the lack of grip! ;)

I'd drink till I puke if that happens.

I'm sure Lewis will radio the team about how great the car feels after he learns the other 3 are out of commission. :hehe:

That's probably enough to have even racechick not wishing Hamilton wins.

It's really a given that the RB6 rightfully deserve to go into the final race as favourite. It has proven to be fast everywhere. RB deserves the WCC title this year.

Now, putting my Tifosi-red glasses on do I think we have a chance - well, yes. What's more, I think there are some areas where we will have the upper-hand.

Forza Ferrari
Avanti Fernando
Avanti Felipe

Wouldnt it of been a better judged post if the red glasses were off? Although i do agree generally, those three straights wont make a difference much like korea, when red bull are so much quicker in corners. And same goes for the heavy braking zones, an advantage, but red bull has a bigger one.

I gave my opinion of RB in the 1st para - perhaps you missed it in your rush to brown-nose up again to bud?
I then gave the Tifosi reasons to be optimistic - if you've got a problem with a Ferrari fan supporting their team then stiff cheddar.

If I'm right about the F10 having a little edge in the braking dept, and Yas Marinas suiting this, then we will do well in qualifying. Not long to wait and see. Either way, I'll be supporting my team, if we don't win, then I'll be happy to congratulate RB, they've had a great car all season.

the first part of your post was uncalled for ,pathetic and expected from a five year old. im hacing a debate, unheated i might add, and witgh you alone, this has nothing to do with bud lewis or brownnosing so in the future please dont label me with other people just cause i support lewis, im actually a turned fan of alonsos and ive complimented ferrari enough to warrant a level headed response to my posts. Dont act like one of those arrogant forumners who diss anyone who disagrees with their point of view ( which youve just done)

anyway i never said you were wronf, i think i even said that i agree with yoy didnt i? MY OPINION is that like all year, red bull will lock out the front row, alonso will need eithet a dnf from one of them or... well thats it, because unless that happens they will finish 1-2 and if alonsos third vettel will move if he needs to for webber. im happy for a response to this if you can do it in a nicer way. But if korea with its three big straights saw a rbr 1-2 abu dhabi in dry conditions especially will also see a 1-2 and its not that far fetched that lewis could nip into third if the car works ( doubtful but not too much).

I see, so that was another FRAFPDD that posted nothing but an ROFL to Bud's diss? If you can't take it back, don't dish it out.

You might be right about RB dominating this race, but, at the risk of repeating myself yet again, I started my original quote with comment that they (RB) rightfully carry the tag of favourites this season.

On serious note, I went to detail that I don't think the straights are actually that relevant to Ferrari - they are McLaren's forte. I think Ferrari has an advantage in braking. I then went on to detail how Ferrari (especially since Europe) had done particularly well at track with lots of hard braking corners and RB had done well at track with few such corners. AD definitely has a lot of straight line hard braking corners. What's more, I pointed out that, IMO, RB has a weakness in the overheating dept and AD will be hot and there are only 4 places at AD where the car gets to accelerate for 500 meters or more. Meaning drivers are on the brakes a real lot.

Not too long to find out if any of that is relevant.

If that's the case, one wonders why Red Bull havn't finished 1-2 nearly every race.

Korea was the perfect example to show how RBR dominance in qualifying doesn't translate into maximum points on race day.

As for Lewis, it's been some 3 months since he last beat Alonso. He's a talented driver and he might be a factor, but i wouldn't count on it, given how the Mclaren has been struggling recently.

Dude if you could see how your acting at the momentfrom my seat youd be embareased, what vud said was funny, not necause it was bud, and not because it was you on the receiving end, it just made me laugh, stop being so paranoid about it, i dont dish out cusses ots not a grown man style you see, so i dont expect to receive any. i expect to come on an f1 forum and talk with reason to fans of all drivers and teams so im asking you politely to drop any previous perception of me and do some masdebating.... with me. too much to ask?

all im trying to remind you of in our advantages debate by the way, is that specifically on abu dhabi, red bulls advantage is too immense that any other advantage bar reliability is redundant. unfortunate but nonetheless the situation.
