He's running out of options as a paid driver. Red Bull ( his spnsor) are set to pull the plug. So what next? He wants to stay in Ralleying but may have to be a pay driver if he does. Apart from red bull's loss of faith, Citreon team principal(the team he races for) says he isnt fast enough. So if he stays he may have to pay for his drive. But he does add good publicity value.
So what will he do?
He's insistant he wont return to F1 with renault....but where else could he go?

I don't think he will return to f1 (unfortunately), he just doesn't want it enough. And the top teams aren't too keen on his lack of interest, regardless of his talent.

He comes back when he comes back, he had his reasons to leave, and he'll have his reasons if and when he returns.

Maybe he could use that £14m that he got paid for not racing in F1 last season to remain in rallying...

I have an odd feeling we will see Kimi back in F1 eventually but I doubt it will be with a top team, possibly Lotus or Virgin :hehe: .

I know that the Citroen WRC Team wants to drop him....I suspect that doesn't necessarily mean that Red Bull wants to drop him as a brand "ambassador". Just because Red Bull sponsor the Cirtroen WRC Team doesn't mean that Red Bull calls the shots there.

Kimi, Kimi, Kimi! The most talented driver with the least drive in F1 history. He's like Alonso without the eyebrows, Mansell without his stache, and a toned downed Kubica.

I still love him though, bring back the Kimi

I only see him coming back with a potentially front running team who can provide him with equipment and pay him enough. Seems like those seat are all gone so it will have to wait until 2012 if ever...
