They are not talking anymore about changes to anything.
Does Ferrari feel they have enough now to win?

They may have something to come, but realistically they're not going to admit it are they.

However, they still have engine problems for Alonso. The current motor has been in there since Singapore and still needs to do 3 more GP's.

Fernando ran "engine 8" at Italy, Singapore and Japan. He won't need to use this one again.
He has "engine 6" which has been used at Germany and Hungary. He will use this one more time.
He has "engine 7" which was only used in Belgium. He could use that twice more.
He has "engine 1" which he changed before the start of Bahrain so it hasn't actually been used in a race. The way the rules work, he also has an option to use that one at Abu Dahbi.

Basically, he's got plenty of engine options.

BTW HD, finally got to watch the the last half of Bathurst :-) but it took until yesterday for me to get it!

It's a risk running the Bahrain engine, Ferrari changed it for a reason. . . (unless they got permission to back modify it).

After Singapore (I think), Stefano told the bbc they only had "little upgrades".

I think they know they don't have the best chance this year, so don't throw too much into it. I think Redbull probably will give it their all though.

As i saw in the engine ussage table, most teams only used Engine #1 once.
apparently love was not in the air for their engines at Bahrain.........

Ferrari actually used 2 engines at Bahrain. Engine 1 and 2 for both cars. They used engine 1 in practice, then changed to engine 2 for the actual event. They then used engine 3 for Australia. Neither of engines1 & 2 (for both drivers) have been used again. Subsequently Ferrari were allowed to make a change to all engines for both drivers relating to a fix for overheating. All the engines used since then have been so modified as have engines 1 and 2.

Yeah i know. Ferrari were even worse, they've used #1 and #2 only once. But the other teams also have not used the engine they used on that race again (#2 for Ferrari, #1 for the other teams).

That's important I think? Why Alonso had to pit in q1 in Singapore, I don't think its anything to do with the start though? Would've thought Ferrari would've worked on that.

The working the tyres one should hopefully benefit Massa.

It's very important. For the last two (2) races Ferrari have had problems with the ECU. As you mentioned in Singapore Fernando was called to box to reset the unit, but, the same thing happened on the warmup at Susuka and Fernando had no electronic launch system. The Launch System is separate to the ECU, but, it is part of the electronics and it may use or share data from the ECU. I think they may be trying to make the launch and other electronics independent of the ECU - just a hunch.

I really hope they do achieve some improvement for Felipe. It would be great for him and the team if he could get a good result.
