Hmmm a 928S engine swap!! :D

The wheels are an odd size from being german or due to the age? Are you gonna get a good set of street performance tires and then a set for track days?

That's what I was thinking... the guy has a set of 16 by 8 inch 944 Turbo wheels with Hoosiers on it and was offering them to me for an additional $250. The rubber was pretty worn but usable for a day or two so I am considering it.

Dude I would jump on that asap.

Yes bud has one sweet ride  .

Wow! just noticed... you've got a 6.0 V8 on that pick up?!! :yikes:
RWD?

That would lend itself to some serious hooning!
BTW What is your weight/HP ratio?! or is the truck actually larger than it looks on the pics?

I bought a 1987 Porsche 944 S today! Complete toy to just take to track days and fool around with. Not concourse material but VERY clean with only 48k miles on it.

I hit paydirt, it's got every single service document since the car was bought and it really is in need of a new set of rubber and that's it. As a bonus, it's already got upgraded sway bars, carbon-ceramic brake pads, stainless steel break lines and a stainless stainless steel performance exhaust.

I won't get it till next week, just went to see it today negotiated the price, shook hands and left a deposit. These aren't my pics they're the ones the current owner sent me but they're good enough to post for now.

Excellent!

I am actually waiting for a 911 of about the same age to come about at a nice price as well...... unless I become rich in the meantime, then i'd get the new one. hehe

I had a 2004 Jeep Cherokee and it sucked, except in the snow, it was AWESOME in the snow. And the stock Infinity stereo was actually pretty sweet too. Just traded it in for a 2006 Honda Accord EX-L Manual. It’s not the V6 but I still love it. Honda manuals are SOOOO fun to drive. I use to have an Acura RSX too.

Yeah mate it's RWD it's the same chassis as the new Camaro, seems Holdens being used by GM for RWD applications. It's not really a pickup truck as it's based on a sedan so it's small, they are called Utes short for utility, its only slightly longer than the sedan variant.

I'm not sure of the exact power to weight ratio but it has 360Hp at the fly wheel.

That’s pretty awesome bro... You have the new El Comino with a Vette engine! Built off the Australian GTO like the American Camaro. Just don’t try to take to many corners right? Lol

The 5.7l GTO was/is the best of this frame and Vette engine matching no?

Still you have a sweet ride that has to look and sound amazing!

You put a Vette engine in anything, be it a Cadillac, Holden, Vauxhall, Chevy, it will be awesome! ;)

I'm currently driving a 2011 Ford Fiesta as my previous car was an insurance write-off after being rear ended!

Wow, it did look kinda small, but with all that power I thought it could be something larger... like a Ford F150 or something..... but it really is small-ish....... must be great fun to drive.

I used to have an Acura (Honda) Integra, but they don't insure them anymore over here....... i would have gotten sued even if someone did rear-end me :yikes: so had to sell it.

Why won't they insure the Integra anymore? is it a dangerous car?
