im hoping the teams qualify kind of staggered, so from pole its say Mclaren, Red Bull, Ferrari, Mclaren, Red Bull, Ferrari

only i hope that the man on pole is Hamilton and the man behind him isnt Vettel, who i have full trust in ruining both their race byt the end of the first lap :D

Vettel 1, Webber 2, Schumacher 3.

You don't know/forgot Schumacher will have a 10-place grid penalty for Sunday, do you?

And considering MSC has qualied no better than 5th this year, and has been on a downward trend since Turkey, figure somewhere in the high teens.

Schumacher will spend all race stuck behind Algy.

His grid position will be in the previous track.

I can't see Michael Schumacher finishing on the podium for two reasons, his team mate has had the upper hand most of the season and the Mercedes is going backwards, it's looking like they have abandoned the 2010 season to concentrate on the 2011 season given the way they have dropped back, just about scrapping into the top 10!

It's funny..when Merc found Rosberg doing really well and Schumi struggling with setup, they halted their development to focus on the ex 7XWDC...

I won't be surprised one bit if they completely throw this season away to do another Brawn next year. I for one, am concerned. Brawn has 100% faith in the old man, and the old man still has his Chop Schuey skills and some speed. With a half decent car which he feels comfortable with, and the head of FIA being his previous boss (who loved him) the other drivers better watch their backs next season.

This is the issue I have with Schumacher, I wonder how many World Championships he would have won if he had a competitive team mate that was equal in status to him? Schumacher always had the team built around him being clear #1; regardless of championship position, Schumi was always #1, and that seems to be the case now despite being outclassed by young upstart Rosberg. The same is true of Alonso, at Renault he had a substandard team mate that was clearly #2; he went to McLaren expecting the same and was matched by his rookie team mate and suddenly he wants out, it's clearly the same situation at Ferrari now!

OK, back on topic; Belgian GP!!!

How? Alonso's happy at Ferrari, and Massa had the chance but diddn't take it. Massa's not even a rookie team mate.

I wonder how well shooey's ability to bulid a team around him will work though, f1's moved on a fair bit since he was last driving. In terms of directing technical development is he still in the "groove".

Dont think Mercedes dropped this yr's car (if they even dropped it at all) solely because Schumacher is struggling.
I'm sure they want a car that's as close to being best for both drivers as possible. Nico had his chance to get good results this yr as much as Schumacher had. Next yr it'll probably be the same.......... with both being able to get a bit more from the car since there'll be some continuity.

Whether it'll be good for the team, the drivers and enogh to beat the other teams.......... let's see.

"Oor Nige" will be the drivers' rep on the stewards panel at Spa. Now, who does he need to settle old scores with this time? :hehe:

i think that Lewis and Jenson will be up there for Mclaren, the same for the ferrari's and red bull's, so it will be a battle between merc, renault and williams for the rest of the top 10 in quali, and if we have a wet race, well then i think its a fight between mclaren, ferrari and red bull for the podium :)
