that was one of the uglIest moves i've seen in a while. Not too far from Vettel's recent start up move, but while going 250+ kph
Bad bad move Michael.
Bad bad move Michael.
Came out fighting indeed.

I think it's a fair punishment given the scope of the rules; Michael Should have known better really, Rubens as alongside when the move was made, clearly dangerous; if the pit lane wall didn't end when it did; Rubens could have been killed or seriously injured. Unexpected from Michael? NO, we come to expect this sort of behaviour from Michael!Get over it Rubens, You probably have Michael to thank that you had at least 2 contract extensions at Ferrari, oh and how many titles do you have Rubens....?
Maybe if Rubens didn't get those contract extensions, he would have won a championship or two... getting stuck in a #2 contract was bad for Rubens, he should have moved from Ferrari to be able to fight for wins, even if he had an inferior car, at least he wouldn't have had to pull over to let Schumacher through! Frankly it does put a serious dent in Schumacher's credibility as a seven times world champion, how many would he have won if Rubens didn't help Schumacher at Ferrari?

The fact remains that Rubens in nowhere near in the same league as Michael, as for behaviour and conduct I can only smile by all the comments suggesting these guys should all be nice to one another...c'mon people this is F1, its Brutal and Ruthless, and all those guys have ego's as big as their Bank Balances!

No, the move was ruthless and simply unsportive. Specially given the case, Barrichelo was faster than him, and on better tires...
F1 gets o little overtakes, you dont have to ram someone to the wall to block an attempt. That was terrible.

Did I not just say F1 was ruthless?
OK let me put some other cases to you, a few people already mentioned Vettel's blocking of Alonso, which brought about the ScandAlonso gate scenario, had Vettel not tried to introduce Alonso into the Wall, Alonso would have been first into the corner and the whole silly issue would not have happened, then there were the two ocassions that I remember Lewis touching Vettel in the first corner, and on one Vettel's tyre was punctured.
F1 is dog eat dog WOOF!

There are racing incidents and there are blatantly dangerous deliberate moves
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that schumachers' actions weren't as bad as what everybody is saying.
Here is the argument for schumacher:
1: There was no accident:- I know that isn't the most convincing argument but when you are said to be one of the best drivers in the world in one of the fiercest categories of motorsport there will be times in which you will place you car so close to causing an accident without actually causing an accident. This is what schumacher did. It was bloody close but it still wasn't an accident.
2: Schumacher left him just enough room:- If schumacher didn't leave barrichello enough room barrichello wouldn't have got past. As a racing driver schumacher only had to give him a car width. This kind of goes hand in hand with my previous argument. I can't remember the exact details but i seem to remember one particular incident at catalunya between alsonso and webber where webber pushed alonso all the way in to the pit exit lane and even on to the grass when alonso was attempting to overtake webber..... (remember webber than came diving back up the inside to retake the position).
3: They were fighting for the final points position:- Marting brundle said only a couple of laps before the incident that barrichello would either finish 10th or crashing trying. Brundle also said that barrichello would just stick it up the inside of schumacher and make schumacher miss him. Now if that was the mind set of barrichello fighting for the last points paying position why should michael schumacher have a different mindset defending the last points paying decision. There is a world of difference between 10th and 11th. If martin brundle expects someone to make a kamakazi move to gain a position surely he could expect someone to make a kamakazi move when defending a position.
That's all i can think of right now but i love formula 1 and i ove discussing this stuff. And whilst i expect to cop a hiding from a lot of people by siding with schumacher i hope we can keep it constructive. I am open to changing my stance given the right argument.
Let it be known that i am not a schumacher fan so my point of view is not a biased one. I am australian and therefore a staunch webber fan.
Cheers

MSC: Why is Rubens overtaking me? Someone stop him....for God sake!!!
Ross Brawn: He is not in our team anymore, Michael...
