This is why Jenson is so close to Lewis. Bad Luck on Hamilton's part

Imagine comprehensively beating a guy 10 races out of 12 and he's 10 points right behind you.

2 DNF's in high points positions is the cause.

Which is why they call it racing.

It's a shame Jenson had such a bad day today...could have been his day, but he made a cok of it.

And its a shame Lewis' car broke today, he didnt make a cok of it and could have pulled a further lead.

yeah, it's about time some typical racing luck went against him. Those near him in the points have had plenty of bad luck...otherwise dear Lewis would never have gotten a sniff of a championship lead.

Car broke earlier this year when he had a solid second. You have a selective memory

Jenson has been making a chicken of it for a while but having the luck of the devil he has survived up to this point.
From here on in he will slip further away from the leaders because all four are better driver or should i say quicker.

I think red bull will win it but as long as Lewis comes in front of Jenson i am okay with that.

Their are plenty more years left as yet.

Today he was actually pathetic and yet again he has luck on his side.

Has Hamilton somehow hurt your family in some way? you seem to have a blind hatred for him.

I dislike vettel and think hes overrated and don't hide that fact however i do know he is a good driver and hopefully will become an amazing driver in time.

You however completely ignore Hamiltons ability as a driver and go straight to abusing anyone who mentions his name.

Jenson may have blown his chances this season; wasn't even close to Lewis to capitalise on his retirement... Jenson could have been leading the championship even if Mark won the race if he had been right up behind Hamilton. Given the McLaren has been a handful in recent years, Jenson needs to step up to the plate or play the support role. I say this as a Jenson Button supporter, he doesn't have the balls to compete at the top level, taking the risks it seems, when Lewis clearly takes the risks!

This is what many of us have been saying all along,it's really is obvious that Lewis is the better driver. I knew as soon as Alonso and co got their act together Jenson would suffer.

Jake and Eddie plus that Red Bull fanboy DC keep making excuses for him, it's pathetic listening to them. Lewis drives his heart out every race but know words of praise just blantant excuses for Jenson.

I wouldn't say that Lewis is the better driver; Lewis can certainly wring more out of a ill handling car than Jenson but if the McLaren had the perfect balance then I believe that Jenson would be right up there with Lewis battling it out for pole position. It's Lewis' adaptability that's his strength, Jenson is a like like Damon Hill, silky smooth but that is not what is required with the current McLaren, that car needs to be wrestled around the track and it seems that Jenson isn't capable of that sort of driving!
