Hey Guys,

A group of us are heading to the Singapore GP, have any of you been and can you recommend the best seats?

We were looking at getting walk about tickets, these could be really good or really bad - depending how lucky you get I guess.

What corners in Singapore have the best overtaking?

Thanks :D

I was at Turn 3 last year and ill be there this year as well!
2 years ago i was at the Bay grandstand but that wasnt that great (other than Nelson throwing himself into a wall). But it is a nice cheap option if you can double the walkabout price.

Apparently "Stamford" is supposed to be when most of the overtaking happens but other than Webber trying a sneaky move around a Alonso, i cant remember much going on there.

But in my opinion i think Turn 3 is the best as you get a great view of the first 3 corners and u pay around 200dollars less than you would for turn 1!

Hope you enjoy!

You could probably get a seat inside an HRT for about the same.

My cousin and I went to the inaugural Singapore GP and had walkabout tickets. We had an amazing time and Singapore rocks, expensive but fantastic.

On race day (after a lot of sweaty and knackering walking about on Friday and Saturday - but still fun-) we managed to get on the Singapore flyer balcony/platform (the big wheel, like the London eye) and had a pretty good view of the last corner before the pit from there. It wasn't to busy, had a screen right in front, speakers for commentary, a decent view of the track and a bar with ice cold bevies on tap and it cost us about 40 quid each (which is a dam site cheaper than the equivalent grandstand BELOW the balcony).

So if your after a unique place to see the race from on a budget I'd do some research to see what's happening there at this years race. It's not part of the track per-say and is privately owned, so contacting them direct is probably best. We just stumbled upon the idea but it was the first race and they may well have cottoned onto the business side of things but it may be worth a try either from here before you go or when you arrive at track take a walk there and ask.

Have an awesome time. :D:D:D:drink::drink::clap:
