My stepsister has this little bugger to give away and oh god how I wish I could give him/her a home but atleast he/she will be going to a Lab rescue and not the pound .

I picked up a Husky on Saturday afternoon, all was going well until he went a bit mad and tried to bite a little girl in the park on Sunday. So had to take him back as I have a 6 year old and could not watch both of them 24/7 and don't want to take the risk.

the little girl and the dog was unharmed by the event.

How old is the Husky and what is his background? Husky's are great animals and very very intelligent but from what I have learned they can be rather frisky/dangerous if braught into a new enviroment with new people after they have developed a bond with a certain enviroment.

I will be graduating next friday and will most likely be moving out of town for a job so I may be looking for another apartment companion in the form of a puty tat

He is 7 and was no problems what so ever apart from that which was a shame. He came from a home that had older children, when We spoke to the old owner after what happened she said she was surprised because he had only ever done it to toddlers before! something that she did not tell us when we picked him up. As it turned out her landlord had a change of heart and decided she could have pets after all so he is staying with his old owner again.

Good to hear that he will not be parted with his current family as we all know that pets experience serious seperation issues. I leave the house each morning at around 5am and Mr.Max just gets SO SO SAD and then when I arrive home less than 5hr's later he acts like we are long lost brothers , I look forward to his greeting everyday .

A sad loss for our neighborhood as Sporty, the neighborhood mascot, has gone to doggy heaven. Max and I had met him on numerous occasions while out walking and honestly I have never met a dog so small but with such a huge and gentle heart. He did not walk around our neighborhood he strutted like he owned the place RIP Sporty .

Aww soooo cute!! I want a kitten but my parents wont buy me one.Reason is that we are living in a flat,it'd be difficult to take care of it.I say if i have a kitten,i would look after it so it wouldnt be a problem but they dont agree The only pet i am allowed to have is fish.I dont want a fish theres nothing to do with it...sigh..So i dont have a pet

Use this as a ploy that cats take care of themselves and there is no reason to buy one when there are so many rescues waiting for a loving home. My dog in Houston and my kitten and puppy here are all rescues free of charge .

They dont care about the money they just dont want a kitten and its fur in everywhere.But thanks for the idea,i will tell them this when they are in a great mood
