Great drive by Jenson, he deserved the win after that gutsy decision to put on the slicks. I'm a bit peeved with the decision to bring Lewis in for fresh tyres but at best he was looking at 2nd place, this race was Jenson's.

I did love Lewis' drive through the pack, both him and Alonso made great comebacks.

[richindarlo]

yea, i can understand why Lewis is a bit cheesed off with the team, but they made a call, and at most that call cost him a podium, but i agree, that call didnt cost him a win. I do think that for Lewis though, the biggest annoyance is that Jenson won. Lewis has always been top dog at McLaren, and i wonder if he feels a bit threatened. He would normally have been in Jensons shoes. I dont think Lewis has anything to worry about but i can see why he might worry.

[Jensonb]

I won't say I told you so.

But I will say

Fortunately for me i don't smoke but i will say you really do talk rubbish, perhaps you could get back in that box you jumped out of. You calling me illiterate is a joke, your posts are lacking any intelligence or imagination, the nonsense you come out with should be more associated with someone who has difficulty putting their words together.

"n leave my people alone" this line here sums your intelligence up.

Let me rewrite it for you "and leave my people alone" you notice the and instead of the n.

I won't say I told you so.

But I will say

Only argument i do have JensonB
Not just against you but to everyone...

F1 is F1 and anything can and will hapen,
But what if is all i have to say....Alonso? He would and all of you know it, would of won!! Theres no doubt in my mind. He was fast and got fourth from 24th i think....If he stayed 3rd, he would of won or would of no doubt been 2nd. SO i think into the second race everyone should be very afraid of Alonso.....

True, but as i said. If the Season does carry on the way it is....Alonso could be the new crowned man...king of the ring

There's a 60-80% chance FA takes the title. This thread isn't about FA. Read the title.

I don't get it, you told us what? that Jenson will win a race against Lewis,if so then know one has said he wont win a race. The only time when you can use that line is at the end of the season not the second race in. Jenson made a smart tactical move, not a driving move. It was after his team mate had come from 11th on the grid to overtaking him, button had to do something and he done a pit stop. He didn't out drive Lewis he just made a smart move at the right time.

The race clearly shows that button fighting with lewis on the track, lewis came out on top,he overtook him easily. Now, that said i am happy for Mclaren because even with a car that is not quite their we have managed to get on the podium in the first two races and the constructors table is looking sweet. Don't for one minute think that this is how the season will pan out, button won't be able to rely on early pit stop the whole season.

It quite easily could of been a McLaren 1-2 if not for the tactical era pitting Lewis when he had enough in his tyres to finish the race, they gambled on Ferrari coming in but they didn't.

Well done Mclaren, ill say that Button made the right choice but the season has far to go before you or i can say "i told you so".
