I still can't make out why some Lewis fanboys feel the need to bash Jenson? I know the more sensiable Mclaren fans on here don't do it, but seriously some of you guys its just all you ever say on here. It can't be healthy.

I can't believe some posts on this thread.

I think its fair to say EVERYBODY knows Lewis can be faster than Jenson on Q and on a quick/hot lap. What EVERYONE has been implying is that Jenson's consistency and better care for tires can make the battle closer.

Are these not facts?? or better put: are these not reasonable assumptions??
Or is anything away from "Lewis is God" worth a ramble??

:irked:

Careful .. you'll get RC and the other four on your back with their obnoxious drivel..

Nah... RC is sweet.
A good fan... bit on the "stalker" side, but a good fan :)

this is getting unnecessarily hostile.

We can be fans without being fanatical, today Lewis showed that he could drive with as much maturity as anyone else on the grid.

Lewis ran a good clean race and was respectful in the interview as well. He even congratulated Alonso. A job well done, perhaps the missing father/manager will have a positive affect on the lad. It sure was nice not seeing daddy's face on the TV every 5 minutes.

Poor Vettel....but I suspect he will be in the front again, and a hell of a job holding onto 4th. Massa's return is a great thing and he took being passed for 2nd without any drama. Nice move by Alonso and it's good to see him on the top step. Nico beat Michael.... :hehe: Enjoy it while it lasts.

Jenson, Jenson, Jenson... :banghead:

This is the Lewis v Jenson thread bill, not the general race one.

I think Jenson preformed pretty poorly this weekend. Although it was probably all down to poor quali, there's only that and a good start to enable a driver to have a good race it seems.

Jenson did s*** this weekend, Lewis was the much better driver because at the end of the day he got a podium! Jenson was off-pace, couldn't catch Michael and I didn't really see much coverage over the whole race as he was hardly doing much

I think he did alright. It wasn't bad, but he definitely had room to improve. Webber on the other hand, drove pretty poorly...

I think Bahrain busted the myth for Lewis not being able to take care of the tyres. As he said, drivers can adapt their racing style

Lewis has always been respectful in interviews and he ran his race like all his others, with the intention of winning. As for his dad, well i am sure who is doing just fine with his new business with Mark Brundle.

Press Release

The entrepreneurial instincts that saw Anthony set up his own computer company as part of his strategy for supporting his son have certainly been hard at work over the past couple of years.

He has joined forces with former racing driver Mark Blundell to run 2MB Sports Management, after Martin Brundle left to concentrate on his broadcasting career. The company is based in Royston, Hertfordshire, not far from his home south of Stevenage.

2MB, which formerly had a modest list of drivers on the books headed by Gary Paffett and Mike Conway, has undergone a major change of direction and is now targeting its services at Premiership footballers. Also on board is former Tottenham Hotspur player Les Ferdinand.

And Anthony Hamilton has also just got FIA and FOM approval for another venture. GP Prep is an attempt to provide teams needing experienced drivers, and with no realistic way of giving them that experience within the current rules, with a commercial alternative.

Drivers with sufficient experience in formulas including DTM, IndyCar or the now-defunct Champ Car, GP2, Formula Renault or Formula 3 will be eligible to take part in test sessions in F1 machinery, presumably at Silverstone since that is where the company is based.

It certainly shows the business instincts of the man who once took on multiple contracts to support his young son’s racing career are alive and well.

So you see, i am sure he is happy and Lewis is,don't think for one minute that it's a snub to his dad, they both agreed on it and Anthony will still pick his new manger along with McLaren.

As for Jenson, lol how did you think it was going to go. He got lucky last year but this year will just expose him for the average driver he is.

No excuse, same car as Lewis and no special treatment,he needs to step up to the plate. :yikes:

Jenson had car issues in quali

I suspect next race he'll be must closer to Lewis his race pace was ok he just got stick behind schumacher and was abit too conserative on his tires perhaps.

Everything I said has come true. The Mclaren live telemetry on their website indicated that Button's race pace was way off. Maybe because of Schumacher I don't know. But that is why I said Qualifying is key this year and a Smooth style at the same pace will not be the major effector for the tyres. Button even said that he was being too conservative.
8-)

hehee.

Overall, the Boss, Lewis Hamilton showed Jenny Boy up this week.
