So whats your take on his lastest comments? I rather like Mark but his latest comments/interview is rather pathetic imho regardless of the percentage of truth. I know he is just a very honest guy and his comments can be taken out of context, I'm a perfect example :hehe: , so I'm curious as to others opions?

I think he's probably right though, to an extent... it still takes balls to drive an F1 car now though, obviously when you look at some of the massive shunts that still occur.

Webber's a little more mellow these days, but he is right in some ways, I think he's referring to the likes of Piquet and Grosjean who were just bad.

Ahhhhhhhhhh when I were a lad............. Er, no Mark, in F1 you've had TC, engine braking and probably a few other things they've since got rid of. And there's generations before you with even more right to grumble but you don't hear anything like that from the likes of Stewart or Moss.

Difference is, F1 cars would be incredibly hard to drive without power steering.

Also, drivers have to be much fitter today. Back in the 60's and 70's. Drivers could smoke, drink and laze about. You don't see modern F1 drivers complain about the amount of time they have to spend training and working in the factory.

I think Kimi did and still does that. :P

Mark just shut up and drive!! You're good so stop carping on. Phenomenal groomimg is not what gives Seb and lewis their talent, its what develops it.

Besides: he hasn't seen a phenomenal comeback? Hm, Prost comes to mind...

Add Niki Lauda to that list, even though he has a habit of promoting his comeback shamelessly. :P
