Yeh same as the Infa Red camera's in the wing mirrors.

Very interesting stuff. i did wonder about the shape of the fin when the car was launched, it somehow seemed to look like an odd shape...
I remember reading a journal on aerodynamics in the Uni library while avoiding revising for my finals, there was a piece on using surfaced with tiny holes in it and using air forced through those holes to create layers of pressure and vacuums as a way of increasing the effectiveness of a wing surface for example. To my mind, this new development on the McLaren (also apparently on last year''s BMW) would seem to be something similar...
