I get this urge to buy an old vw camper van and just drive off into the sunset-stop when i feel like it-see all sorts of places-meet all sorts of people.
Anyone else get urges like this? Or any other sorts?

Saving my pennies as we speak. Should be ready in 5 years or so (RV's are kinda expensive).
Cheap used one here


Well that looks the luxury way to travel. But theres just something retro and romantic about the vw's

Well, I need my satellite dish for F1 races and puter :wink:


I have a solution-get one of those phones that work like a puter. Plan the travel around the European races...and visit them live. Find a nice realxing bar to watch the other races in :thumbup:

No that doesnt appeal (though I can see how it would). I think its the bohemian associations with the vw camper.

Not if you want to live in such a vehicle with no home to go back to, I mean long-term.
