Its not always easy to get somones line of thought over the internet and if somone dosn't understand what you mean just try explaining it to again.

I heard the saying that explains this behaviour but cant seem to find it in my head somewhere.

Here on mars we have the same result when using "simple" magnets. in magnetic terms opposites attract. They don't apply to people at all. On earth this works by "having a lot in common". I like the "empty headed bimbo" saying as well as "it takes two"

Well I think it works with people. You can have things in common but still be opposite in personality. Eg one peson can be laid back, the other uptight but you both like mountain climbing -opposites but with things in common.

Also I think women need men to be at least as intelligent as them for a long term relationship; but men ..............(I darent even finish this sentence)
