I wouldn't mind de la Rosa getting a seat, although not at the expense of Heidfeld. Pedro is a very solid racer and I feel that he deserves to be in the sport.

Pedro imo has always been underrated and his results as a "fill in driver" proved once again he has the stuff. Although I would like to see Quick Nick get the seat I will not be disappointed seeing Pedro finally get a full time drive.

Indeed. In 2005 he covered for Montoya in Bahrain. He finished fifth, only two places behind Kimi, and got the fastest lap of the race. In 2006, he scored 19 points in the races he did at the end of the season, including a 2nd place finish behind Button at the chaotic race in Hungary. This guy should have been promoted to a race seat at McLaren already.

Edit: Fisichella's name is also popping up yet again. I wouldn't mind seeing him there, either.

That or he hopes that Rosberg will prove to be a flop. What I don't get is why a team has not snapped him up, considering his driving style. :confused:
