[Jensonb]

1. JB has been going round saying he is going to beat Lewis or take him on head to head, this is fact.
Lewis has said nothing, not even a peep.

Actually, that's a lie, Jenson has only said that's what he hopes to do, and he's also said it will be tough.

Also, don't go giving lectures on linguistics to people until you understand that criticising someone for doing something, then doing it, is hypocrisy.

[Ineluke]

your missing it,

Just becuase your not doing the racing doesn't remove you, this isn't about what lewis said. You feel its bad (I'm keeping my usage simple here) for jenson to say he'll beat lewis, you then say lewis will beat jenson.

You missing it..

JB is saying he is going to beat Lewis or take him on next season. I am saying that JB will get his bottom handed to him, this is me predicting that one driver will beat another.

So by your account anyone who predicts a certain driver to beat another driver is a hypocrit?

Predict-Hypocrit, both these words are in the oxford dictionary and do not have the same meaning.

We could kill this one by pasting the meaning of the two words in this thread, ill leave that to you though.

[Frosty]

I wish there were less LH fans and more McLaren fans. I will congratulate him if he achieves some decent success at McLaren in the future.

[vaptin]

Your not interpreting why I'm calling you a hypocrite correctly which is why I started my last post saying your missing it.

Can you please post the definition since your concerning me now.

The prediction stuff is actually irrelevant as to the hypocritical nature you showed (in terms of prediction being the subject terms, we could substitute something else in there and the hypocrisy will still be the same the prediction stuff is just what you have based yours on, where you have shown it).

You criticise jenson for predicting, then make a prediction yourself in the opposite direction, is it wrong for jenson to say he'll beat hamilton (I'm speaking theoretically here jensonb since like I said what jenson has said is kinda irrelevant) but not for you to say hamilton will beat jenson?

anyway this: seems to spring to mind at the mo, can anyone else help us out here? I've made my points and the reason I still persist is becuase I feel what I said wasn't actually disproved by Ineluke.

Happy birthday to Lewis .

Ineluke you have not been taking your med's apparently so please resume asap so we can have a mature debate with you.

I think you need to do your homwork.

Top Gear 23rd of dec.. JB is a guess and on that show he insist that he will beat lewis even though he understands the mamouth task ahead.

As for me being a hypocrit, again i am predicting what i think will happen next year, that does not make me a hypocrit.

All i said in my first post is Jb is going around saying he will beat lewis next season,i didn't once say i was mad or had a problem with Jb saying it.

I find it funny that he believes that but thats up to him.

Oh ,and button lost on that night to lewis's fastest lap in better conditions ,on the same track and in the same car by 2/10th ,lol sign of things to come this year.

So yeah do your homework before you try to discredit someone.

[vaptin]

Your telling me that you saying jenson has said something that will make him look like an idiot is without you disapproving of what jenson said

edit - I haven't even started on your tone.

[Ineluke]

I am a Mclaren fan first, that does not mean i have to like button. As long as he drives for the team and helps bring the honors then yeah, that will do.
We needed a second driver who could help us win the both titles, jenson might be the one.

All i am saying is do your talking on the track and in the car because him saying he will beat lewis will come back to bite him in the bottom.

Jb and Lewis go back along way, hell it was buttons old man who use to help Tony(lewis's old man) with his carts in the early days.

Button needs to be a team player instead of getting obsessed with beating Lewis because he will lose and damage the team.

Like i said,i find it funny because he will look silly when he does lose when he goes up against Lewis.

My tone? I am having a debate not insulting anyone or being rude.

If you don't like what i am saying then know one is forcing you to read it.

Last i checked this was an open forum where F1 fans can agree or not about everything F1, i might be wrong though.

Anyway I'm know very board, close to going on a destructive rampage so shall we agree to disagree? Or we can even leave it two other members to decide for themselves know, we could go around in a circle forever with the argument acting as centripetal force

It's not an argument,it's a healthy debate, isnt it?

[scotty]

Get back on topic already! If you really must continue your discussion, do it via pm to each other.

same thing really, if its a proper debate I think considering the depth of the subject matter its time for us to conclude and leave it to the rest to form their own opinions

Fair enough we can do that.

Happy birthday week Lewis..
