Where is Denthul need him to clear up who will have which numbers on which cars with the expected changes.

TBH I did not think about why he moved away from the teams just that he seemed to move just as they started to do well. If Jenson has already signed for Mclaren why are they not crowing about it yet?

I expect the new teams will have their numbers assigned based on order of entry.

I think that Red Bull will get numbers 3 and 4 as Sabastian Vettel finished 2nd in the Drivers Championship.
also wouldnt Mercedes GP be classed as a new team and have to have the last numbers?

na only the drivers champions carries the number he earned in the previous season that being 1. the rest of the numbers go on constructor standings.

Mercedes buying out Brawn wont change their position as they signed the concord agreement so will have numbers 3 and 4

yeah but when Honda was brought out Brawn lost the positions as the team name was changed and the agreement had been signed by Honda.

BAR changed their name to Honda without losing their position.

Yep, every entry can change its name without penalty every 5 years. Honda becoming Brawn took place too soon after BAR became Honda, so Brawn had to be counted as a new entry. That does not apply here.

Apparently so, I wasn't aware of it until recently either.

No, I don't think so. Brawn was a new entry, so the Mercedes name change counts as "once". If the team changed again within 5 years, then they'd lose their numbers
