As for England. A strong side they have. Very strong in fact. This is way I know like many others that the English lost on purpose to the Ukraine simply to make sure Croatia didn't make the playoffs. English cheats! Strong team or not, I hope the get nowhere in South Africa 2010. 
Oh I doubt that, we're genuinely just rubbish. We always under perform.

Actually I don't know about England being rubbish. I mean let me forget about betting with my heart (If I were to place a bet on the winner). Let me use logic. Italy and Germany are teams that even if they are not doing well, will lift and can win tournaments. Lets face it, Italy were not all that crash hot prior the 2006 World Cup. They even lost 1-0 to Slovenija in Slovenija (A game in which I was there) during qualifying. But they won. But I cant see Italy doing it twice in a row. Germany with all the not so good they are in the llast decade have managed 2nd in the 2002 World Cup and 2008 Euros. Never write them off but again, unless they get lucky they wont win. Spain and Holland are strong, but they'll crash like they always do. Argentina, well not much to say aboutn their current squad. Good players but they play bad together. Brazil, they are strong, but I bet they'll lose to the likes of Spain or Holland before one of them crash out. France, if they qualify are just not the force they used to be and do not have the solidness of Italy and Germany. So that leaves England. England have won easily and convincingly, save against Ukraine. But they didnt even have to show up in that game. Had England needed to win or draw I believe they would of delivered. England crushed Croatia twice. Croatia are not crap. Afterall they always seem to somehow beat Italy, the better team on paper. If I had to place a bet now on the 2010 World Cup Champion, I would say England. Btw I laughed out aloud literally about the pot calling the kettle black regarding an Italian calling an Eglishman a cheat in football. Now that was hilarious. I guess you have a point. 
I think the only thing I can disagree with there is the fact we will win the world cup.Like you say Brazil,Germany and Italy have always been tournament teams ,even if they're not playing well before.
We on the other hand have the odd good result like stuffing Croatia twice.Beating Germany 5.1 in qualifying,beating Holland 4.1 in the euro's of '96.But when it comes to the big ones we're not good enough.there's a reason we normally get ko'd in the quarter finals,I think that's about our level.
We have played Spain and Holland lately and we got outclassed by both,when both sides had their first choice eleven out.I don't read too much into the Brazil game as it was basicly our reserves playing.
Can't see past either Brazil or Spain for the world cup.We will do our normal and go out in the quarter's unless we get Brazil or Spain before that stage.
