Maybe so, or perhaps it was an ironic laugh after Hamilton's well-publicised 'monkeys at the back' comment.
Of course, it is most likely that it was neither!

Anyway its given his detractors some ammo in the forums, as this seems to be used in every type of arguement whether it be tyre choice or pit girls..
I put it down to a dry sense of humour myself..

Nah.. People are just too bloody serious IMO..
When people can't find fault with his driving they resort to lame character bashing, and I see it all over the internet forums focussed on F1. If we judged every driver through their responses in interviews, then the world championship would be worthless..
