Already he's identified that the speed into Turn3 is carried all the way through the sequence-all the way up to Turn7 at the top of the hill. Any lack of commitment here is punished for ages afterwards..........................
Vettel and Kimi are most impressive through the early part of the turn.......
By now hamilton has been in the pits long enough for his brain to subconsciously unscramble the disparate sensations of this new track and reassemble a logic. Here he comes for a second run. He enters turn3 at a different rate to anything anyone's done so far. With the car pointing where he needs it from early in the corner, his throttle foot is busy like Senna's used to be as he teases every bit of grip from the wet surface and disappears in a majestic flurry-and this is his out lap!"
