but only people who are your friends can see them so, they will know what the real you is like. I had the same though when I had a look for Henry Surtees Facebook page.

What happens to pages of people who have had there day? do the social networking sites remove them after so long in inactivity?

At the same time, i'm not sure if I give a proper representation of myself on the internet.
I swing so much that half the time i'm not sure what the hell i'm doing.

I agree with you though, it would be interesting to know what does happen.

It's all a goverment conspiracy to eventually take control of society aka 'Neo we know what you have been doing'!

Thank God I'm a Texan and live in Texas because they, the social network's I'm not a member of, will have to pry my gun from my cold dead hand!!

Your legacy should be left through your wife and children, or your contribution to society. Not through social networking sites.

I doubt i'll leave one though.

What ever happens to those forgotten?

What ever happens to those forgotten?

They still live in our memory and are never forgotten  . It's really not the impact you make while your here as it's what you leave behind that you are most remembered for. Yes we all want the self gratification of being recognized and respected while we are still here, and alot of us get that without us realizing it. The only thing we can do while we are here is to be righteous and not self serving while leaving a positive enfluence on those who we associate with.

Treat other's as you want to be treated and you will not be let down, you will be enriched :) .

Oh crap did I reveal all my playa technique's :(

My Twitter is an accurate summary of my life since joining Twitter.

Twitter is alright for news updates stream on F1 for example you can subscribe to all the BBC pundits and you get their opinions off the record and news etc..

but i can't see how any would be intrested if i started writing,

...drove to work today traffic was bad..

day in day out.

maybe i just don't get it.

One thing that puzzles me about Twitter is what can it do that Facebook cannot?

Broadcasting. You can Tweet to thousands of people, or be one of thousands being tweeted to. Facebook's Status updates are almost all private and cannot be sent to as many people. Twitter is also more focused on being real-time all the time, whereas Facebook is realtime with timeshifting.

That, and it's more streamlined to be easier for everyone. No worrying about putting up photo albums or really replying back to what someone wrote on your wall like FB.

I had this same discussion with friends because I got a Twitter account way before my FB account.

I think I lean more towards FB, but i'm not a post/tweet 50 times a day kind of person.
