to be fair, as I am employed by the goverment my pay is not effected by the credit crunch recession etc so this year has been good because everything is cheaper but I still got my 3% pay rise

My parents both work for the NHS... they are now targets for angry right-winged Americans... anyways their pay also increased. Gotta love the public sector?
