There should be less practice sessions per race. I think 3 practice sessions are a bit too much.
Practices should be reduced to 2 sessions or 1 session.
For 2 practice sessions, first practice can be on Friday and second practice can be on Saturday before qualifying session.
For 1 practice session , the practice can be held on Friday and on Saturday qualifyng session only.
Practice sessions tires the races and team members out and that I think causes mistakes. Drivers should be racing more and have less practice sessions
and the sessions are 1 hour which is good enough for the driver to get warmed up before the big day.

Well there is nothing wrong with the current number of sessions. The teams can't test as it is... don't restrict them further.

Are you from FOTA by any chance?

The number of practice sessions is fine. At the moment, the teams have very little time to test, so they are necessary. Cutting the number of practice sessions won't save the teams that much money. In fact, the sport as a whole would lose out, as the circuits would have fewer people coming through the turnstiles. And I'm getting a little fed up with the sport's ethos constantly being eroded.

sorry, but...: er no

they need the testing time and it gives fans a whole weekend of action.
We have what feels like too short a season as it is, lets not make it less!

I recall there being more practice sessions back in the day then there is now. Its reduced as it is.

Now that they are returning to full fuel tanks they should think about bringing Morning warm up back.

Ok I realise they need to save engines and such, but 30 mins would be excellent on a Sunday morning!

Aye, but they could scrap Parc Ferme, it's not like the FIA need to make sure the teams are adding fuel.

I suppose though there are other rules to it, a shame really.

its not just the fuel though, if they get rid of parc ferme then that opens up changing setups on the race day and no longer relying on quali setups.

Yeah that's true. I still think they should ditch the rule for 2010.

I mean, run the qualifying on low fuel like in the old days, but have knock out sessions.

Sorry, I just want Warm-up back.

And that's bad why exactly?
