I knew those "Whyte and Mackay" logos on the Force India's sidepods would spell trouble for Sutil again, as soon as he came out infront of Raikkonen I thought "Kimi's going to hit him again". And I was right... Dr Mallya will be pretty angry. :P

Good to see Webber finally overcome his "ducks", I was thinking right at the start that some bad luck would come his way, and it did in the form of that drive-thru. But he overcame it and well done to him. :)

Nico's drive today was one of his best yet, all those long-runs being done in practice now have paid off for him. If he had been in Q3 yesterday he could have got on the podium. If Nakajima can start scoring points as well Toyota's 3rd place is right up for grabs. And Nico is only 1 point behind Trulli in the standings too. :D

First, congratulations to Webber on thoroughly deserved win. In the last couple of races, he's really started to show his true form, and was pretty much unbeatable this weekend. Chris Amon goes back to being the finest driver never to win a Grand Prix. His move on Barrichello at the beginning of the race, though not deserving a penalty, was certainly him pushing his luck slightly. If another driver had done that to him, we would never have heard the end of his whingeing.

It was disappointing to see Hamilton stuff things up again for McLaren. The new bits on the car were working well, the conditions during qualifying helped out the team, and Hamilton made a great start - but saw red and he out-braked himself. So long as Hamilton keeps doing this, he is going to be a liability to any team who employ him. The team are a pathetic sixth in the constructors' title; without Hamilton's gaffes, the team would either be a slightly more respectable fourth, or not far off it. Another wasted opportunity. It was nice to see Kovalainen put a decent shift in, though. His lap times were very good, considering he was not running a couple of the new parts.

Piquet showed what a useless piece of turd he is. Despite qualifying further up the grid than Alonso and his team mate having a couple of problems, he still managed to be comprehensively bested. I'm truly staggered Renault have not sacked Piquet. Briatore has lost the plot.

Force India have made some serious progress recently. Their lap times today were very pleasing and circumstances favoured them in qualifying, but Sutil, who now takes on Webber's mantle as the most unlucky driver in Formula One, was bashed off the track by Raikkonen once again in a dubious move. Now Ferrari and the FIA are not best buddies any longer, perhaps Raikkonen will get some form of punishment.

Williams, also, seem to have improved their act off late. It's nice to see them looking slightly happier, but there has been so many false dawns from them before (for instance, the tedious "our car should suit this track" sound bite), I'll wait to see what happens over the next few races before making too many judgements on their performance.

Brawn are clearly feeling the pressure at the moment. Put simply, their Grand Prix was Comedy Central on so many levels, which is a bit of a surprise, for I thought a guy of Brawn's experience should know how to deal with these kinds of situations.

Only slightly happier? They were VERY happy today as it turns out Nico had a fuel system problem today and he had to carry an extra 15 kilos of fuel, had to come in earlier for the first stop and still finished an excellent 4th.

The team have come a long way since the start of the season when other teams could afford to throw new developments and the logistics involved in flying parts out etc. Since the return to Europe the team has been on an upward curve, the team have stopped messing around with light fuel runs in practice, the only time "this track should suit our car" has been used was by Sam Michael in Melbourne and Nico at Monaco (naturally), if anybody it seems now McLaren and BMW are using that particular sound bite (Kubica said it at Silverstone, Whitmarsh at Monaco).

Sir Frank made a promise to not let Brawn get away after the first race of the season, and today Nico finished ahead of both of the Brawns on merit and from 15th on the grid. Unlike previous years the FW31 has no gremlins whatso-ever and is one of the best balanced cars on the grid. So expect to see more of Nico finishing high up in the points and he's expecting to get a podium very soon.:yes:

If anybody's suffering from false-dawns it's Toyota, they are having their usualy "fall back as the season progresses" syndrome and their 3rd place is looking under threat.

No he didnt outbrake himself!! He made a superb start from 5th to what looked to be 1st but Webbers front wing clipped his tyre. Unfortunate and 50/50 a racing incident. Cant blame Lewis can't blame Webber. But another reminder of how good he can be.

Mega congrats to Webber, so pleased he's getting over his injury and racing so well, always fancied him over vettel.

Brawns looking off the pace and screwy on strategy. Not wise of Rubens to mouth off but thoroughly understandable, they all do it.
