This race will be interesting from the point of view of where the field order in the development race once again after a 3 week break between Silverstone and this weekend.

Williams' development rate has picked up a lot since the teams arrived back in Europe and they have caught up with Ferrari and Toyota in pace terms. I would love to see Nico get on the podium this weekend, and if the weather in Germany is cool again the Brawns' pace will drop off again and Nico will hopefully be able to exploit this opportunity.

The only concern I have is that Nakajima hasn't raced here in F1, however his upturn in contribution to set-ups and car development has allowed him to well and truly get in the mix with Nico.

McLaren may be a bit stronger here, but not too much stronger. But as long as they don't have to rely on a crain at the first corner again. :P

I wan't Vettel to win this race. And with Button out of the race it would be interesting season.

Serious, Vettel will take this race. Weather is (or will be) on his side. And RBR is bringing more updates to this race. It has to be 1-2 for Red Bull.

And, as far as Ferrari is concerned, it'd be great if they could get to the podium. Everything else would be too much to expect.

Agree.
I think pressure will mount in a tremendous amount all in one go. Plus with Brawn wanting to prove there worth to future sponsors? It will mount. I thin Rubbens can shine this race, pressure never seems to bother him.... seeing a he has never had any

Mass will be there somewhere!

I don't know why so many seem to think RB will walk this. They obviously have a great chance as usual, especially if the weather goes their way, but otherwise all the past races surely suggests that Brawn will be well-suited here?

I expect McLaren to be improved this weekend (ie they should actually be able get out of Q1!). I'll be interested to see how Renault's big upgrade works too...

I think Renault will have made step forwards. Probably enough to keep them ahead of the likes of Mclaren and BMW, but I would say Ferrari and Williams will also have added bits and pieces.

Erm, Alonso is very strong around this circuit so i'd expect him in Q3 if he pushes. I mean who could forget the last time he raced around the Nurburgring :P:wink: ?

Oh yeah, even I wasn't on his side against Massa, it was great race. Wheel to wheel racing, something we all want to see.
