what is he doing? I think if I was Ferrari, I would be talking to Flavio about swapping him with Piquet. I know that Ferrari are having a bad time but I would imagine an Ex World Champion to manage to rally the troops and not go out in Q1 with "We thought we had done enough to get through." Maybe the old adage Never assume it is makes an bottom of U and ME!

I know some people have said about Piquet and Nakajima, lets face it, they are on I would imagine less than 10% of Kimi's pay and have never proved that they can drive an F1 car. Where as Kimi has and now can not be bothered.

Maybe someone should buy him a personalised reg plate for the next time he is in the UK. P45 KMI.

I think blaming Kimi is a bit harsh.

From what I've heard from DC in previous BBC F1 programs this year, that kind of call is made by both the team and the driver. I think Kimi is partly to blame for the call not to go out but not entirely. As for his performance so far this season, I'd say he seems to have gotten on top of the car's behaviour better than Massa, with the notable exception of China.

Massa did the same thing in Malaysia, so I dont know why you're criticizing Kimi.

Yeah well, this was the second time this season - doesn't Ferrari learn from their mistakes? :banghead:

There's just some kind of institutional decision making problem at Ferrari and it's been there lurking under the surface since 2006 really. In fact its been a regular feature of the Scuderia throughout their F1 history except during the Schumacher years (and the short-lived periods of harmony with Surtees and Lauda). There is a culture of madness at Ferrari that hasn't had time to dissipate following the death of Enzo who was himself, slightly mad.

It's a revert to 'Spaghetti Politics' as Niki Lauda put it... in a brilliantly un-PC way!

Erm I did find it hillarious that Legard had resorted to the old Ice Cream gag.

Kimi doesn't try hard enough.
He's too carefree ):
But he does have his moments.
He's one of my favourite drivers (:
Too bad he moved to Ferrari ):

Kimi's cool when he is "fighting"

but until now, Kimi has been.......quite...sloppy, honestly.
Massa has the edge over Kimi
